So far this book seems really slow-going but it hope it will pick up the pace and get a little better. The book is about a kid named Jake Semple that comes to this family called the Applewhites. Jake has met a girl named E.D. here and they have become close. Jake Semple is a really bad guy with a bad reputation. Jake had burned down his last school, so he doesn’t come out to be a good person to hang around. This book isn’t the best so far and I probably wouldn’t read it again, but maybe it will get better.
